Updated 23 October 2026. ElementShelf uses essential cookies only. There is no analytics cookie and no advertising cookie. The note at the bottom of the site tells you this. Dismissing it stores es:notice in local storage so the note stays closed. That is not a cookie, and it is not consent for extra tracking, because there is nothing extra to turn on.

Cookies we set

• Sign-in session. After you sign in, Supabase stores the session in cookies on this site (names starting with sb-). They keep you signed in. They are HTTP-only where the auth library sets them that way, SameSite Lax, and they are cleared when you sign out of this browser.
• es_device. A random id for this browser, so the two-device limit can tell your browsers apart. HTTP-only, SameSite Lax, path /, kept for up to one year. It is removed when you sign this browser out. Signing in on a third device does not silently kick another one. You choose which device to sign out.

Local storage, not cookies

• es:theme remembers light, dark, or system.
• es:accent remembers the accent colour you picked.
• es:notice remembers that you closed the cookie note.

Clearing site data in the browser removes these. Theme and accent then fall back to the defaults.

Other requests

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That is a request to Google, not a cookie we set. Payment checkout happens on the payment provider’s site, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. See Privacy for who processes account data.
